LVT Flooring Structure

Luxury vinyl flooring is a waterproof hard surface flooring, luxury vinyl flooring has the look and feel of hardwood. Luxury vinyl, also known as LVT/LVP flooring, is very affordable, durable, and supports walking, pets, and everyday home use. LVT/LVP flooring is easy to maintain and comes in a variety of colors and styles.

LVT and LVP are made from regular vinyl tiles and consist of 3 layers, each designed to achieve the desired color and texture effect. The first layer is called the wear layer, and it absorbs all scuffs and scratches while resisting stains without affecting the design or functionality of the tile. The second layer is the printed design layer, which gives the real ceramic or stone visual effect and makes them look so real. The third layer is the tile backing, which adds structural strength, integrity, and durability to each vinyl tile.

Together these three layers form the basis of LVT and LVP floor tiles, considered the most innovative, high-performing and versatile tiles available today.
